Harrison Kelso “Harry” Blaikie was born on 10 October 1897 to Frank Blaikie in Bradshaw, Ontario.  He received a Military Service Act letter and was conscripted to the Canadian Expeditionary Force on 14 May 1918 in London, Ontario.  He began as a Private with the 1st Depot Battalion, West Ontario Regiment.


Private Blaikie deployed to England in October 1918. He was posted to the 4th Reserve Battalion in Witley. 


Following the end of the War, Private Blaikie returned to Canada and was discharged for demobilization on 19 June 1919.  He intended to live in Sarnia, Ontario.


              Harrison Kelso Blaikie passed away in 1970, and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery in Sarnia, Ontario.
