George Alexander Osborne - 3131682

              George Alexander Osborne was born in Brigden, Ontario on 22 May 1897, where he lived and worked as a Telephone Lineman.  On 9 January 1918, George was conscripted into the Canadian Expeditionary Force and began his service as a Private in the 1st Depot Battalion, West Ontario Regiment.


              Private Osborne was employed with the Railway Construction Depot as of May 1918.  There he remained until December 1918, when he was discharged due to demobilization.  He likely returned to Brigden following his discharge.


              George Alexander Osborne passed away on 25 September 1930.  He is buried in Lakeview Cemetery in Sarnia, Ontario.
